Running and Walking for Recovery Program
Is a structured 3 phased, 9-week program using progressive movement and reflective coaching to build confidence, awareness through consistency and discipline to create long term behavioural change.
what it teaches
Awareness of self and environments, routine, consistency, goal setting, emotional regulation, healthy coping strategies
why it works
Because it built by someone who lived it - not just studied it
How it works
For nine weeks, participants follow two simple individualised progressive walk/run sessions with one educational reflective session per week.
The movement pillars of the program are base, build and maintain.
The educational component is awareness, understanding and action.
Because sessions are consistent, adaptable, and designed to create a stable routine we can then link the movement strategies and actions to their recovery over time.
