Movement-based wellbeing programs
RAW stands for Running and Walking. My programs combine accessible movement with honest conversation, practical education and reflection. They create opportunities for people to connect with themselves, each other and the possibilities ahead.
Drawing on my lived experience of addiction, recovery and rebuilding my life, I share tools and insights that participants can explore and apply in their own circumstances. Cultural elements are woven into delivery with respect for Country, community and local cultural guidance.
You don’t need to be a runner or have a particular level of fitness. We begin where people are and build from there.
Our approach
Base — Reflection: Understand your starting point, recognise your strengths and consider what you want to change.
Build — Courage: Find the courage to ask for support, try something new and take manageable steps forward.
Maintain — Action: Put learning into practice, build helpful routines and keep moving forward with support.
RAW for Recovery
For adults in alcohol and other drug rehabilitation settings. Running, walking and lived-experience recovery education come together to explore routine, connection, confidence and purpose. Workshops and extended programs are designed to complement the support already provided by the service.
RAW on Country
For young people, with a focus on mental and emotional wellbeing. Movement, cultural connection, storytelling and practical activities encourage reflection, positive choices, belonging and the courage to reach out for help.
Workshops tailored to your community
Miles Inward works with organisations to develop movement-based workshops suited to their participants, setting and goals. Delivery can include outdoor movement, yarning, individual and group activities, grounding practices and practical plans to continue beyond the workshop.
